My grandparents on my fathers side live in San Diego, they have a cozy two story house and a nice, solar heated pool in their backyard. Growing up, every few years, my family would go visit them. I have known how to do a front flip off the diving board since I was pretty young, so whenever I go to the pool over there I like to do flips.
I'll spend lots of time doing flips off the diving board, everyday, for the whole week were are there. They usually come with ease. Yet, for some reason, everytime were are getting ready to go back to Virginia, I'll always want to get one more session on the diving board. Always, everytime I go to my grandparents house, the last flip I do, I always unintentionally land on my back, and it hurts. I just don't go hard enough and land flat on my back as I hit the water. I don't know what it is, but I always seem to mess up on the last day I'm there. It's like a little curse. I'll probably be going to visit them soon, maybe early next year, I hope my back is ready.
